Yuhka Nagai, a highly accomplished musician, holds degrees from prestigious institutions, showcasing her dedication to musical excellence. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2014 and the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2015, both in London, UK. Furthering her studies in Japan, she completed an MA of Music at the Musashino Academia Musicae in Tokyo, where her musical prowess earned her the esteemed position of leader in the Musashino Academia Symphony Orchestra.
Yuhka’s talent extends beyond individual accomplishments; her piano quartet, “Blüte,” secured third prize at the 1st Memorial Tokyo Art Chamber Music Competition, underscoring her collaborative and compositional abilities. During her time in London, she was an integral member of the Kodo String Quartet, benefiting from mentorship by the renowned Caducci and Wihan String Quartets.
In 2017, Yuhka successfully completed the Manchester Fellowship Programme with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra in New Zealand, solidifying her presence in the country’s rich musical landscape.
