NZ Barok is dedicated to providing music education opportunities for communities in Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally.

Since 2016, NZ Barok has presented Baby Baroque Free Kids' Concerts held every July school holidays. These concerts have taken place in Hamilton, Kerikeri, Kaitaia and all over Auckland.

NZ Barok broadened its educational initiatives in 2024 with the introduction of the Winter Baroque Academy, held at the University of Auckland and led by NZ Barok tutors alongside guest artists. Now an annual event, the Academy will take place over the Matariki weekend in 2026.
